Involve's Staff

Duncan joined the team in October 2001 as Involve developed into its role as a voluntary sector development agency. He joined in the newly created role of Development Worker and was also tasked with ensuring the delivery of Involve's new training provision for clients. Since January 2004 he has taken on the role of Chief Officer for Involve.

Duncan began his career within the Civil Service. He worked within a number of local and regional departments gaining a good understanding of the benefits and pitfalls of organisational structures, policies, procedures and protocols.

He has worked within the voluntary sector since 1990, in both a paid and a voluntary capacity. Before beginning his work with Involve he had worked directly in health; information; youth and education based charities. He had also worked with an extremely wide variety of charitable and philanthropic organisation in both an advisory and a supportive capacity as a grants assessor with the Rural Development Commission.

Mark joined the team in January 2004 as the Development Worker. He is available to work with community and voluntary groups from their beginnings, as they develop and expand, as well as supporting organisations in their continuing work and day-to-day running.

Mark has worked with a variety of charities in differing roles including Rural Youth Development and Event Co-ordination both in the UK and abroad. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Community & Youth work.

Michelle Joining the team as Office Manager in April 2007, Michelle is the first point of contact at Involve. Supporting and supervising the office volunteers and controlling the financial and accounting issues, she ensures the smooth running of the office and is on hand to assist in any enquiries and services we provide.

Sue has rejoined the team as the Volunteer Centre Co-ordinator. Her role includes promoting volunteering, recruiting and placing volunteers, and providing support for organisations which use volunteers.
