Get Involved 2011 - Funding Matters Conference

This year the conference’s focus is money! Where, why, how you get it and how to stay in control and to get the most from it.

The Conference will begin with an introduction by the renowned inspirational speaker Satish Kumar, followed by focused workshops covering a wide spectrum of funding, financial and finance topics from leading experts in the field.

  • Advice from Funding and Development Experts Including governance, sustainable fundraising, social enterprise, commissioning, outcomes and advice from funding experts and one-to-one funding surgeries.

This will be a opportunity to explore funding and operational opportunities, to review funding options and consider a sustainable route through the current financail climate.


How can I book a place?

Booking and workshop choices are made using our booking forms. There is an editable (in Word) Booking Form which can be completed on screen and attached to e-mails.

There is also the option of an acrobat version of the booking form which can be printed out and posted.

  • £25* (groups with paid staff)
  • £17* (groups with no paid staff)

More Discounts

There is a 10% early bird discount on delegate bookings received before 26th August 2011.

There is a discount for Multiple delegates from the same organisation; up to a £5 discount on bookings received before 31st August 2011.

    "Get Involved Twenty Ten" was Involve's 7th annual conference. The theme this year was "painting it the way it is".

    The Keynote Speakers were Muhammad Ali, Regional Director, CEMVO and Nick Cater Independent media consultant & journalist

    There were 6 workshops to choose from:

    • Risk and Liability
    • The role of marketing in the charitable sector
    • How healthy is your organisation?
    • Making the most of the media ... 10 ways to hit your targets
    • Painting a picture for Funders
    • Adapt and survive with a flexible employment strategy

    "Get Involved" Conference 2009.

    Involve's 6th Annual Conference was held at the Tiverton Hotel. There were 9 speakers, 6 workshops, free resources and publications.

    The key note speaker was Vanessa Cobb, author of "The Colour Caster".

    There were 6 workshops to choose from:

    • Train to Gain
    • Employment in a Recession
    • What am I Missing? (social networks)
    • Finding your Voice as a Community Leader
    • Get the most from local businesses
